SDST Conducts Free Health Camp Serving 800 Beneficiaries in Rural Bihar
By Sanatan Dharma Seva Trust
SDST's Arogya Seva Kendra successfully conducted a large-scale free health camp in Muzaffarpur district, Bihar, serving over 800 beneficiaries from surrounding villages. The camp, organized in partnership with local healthcare providers, offered a comprehensive range of medical services.
Services included general medical consultations, dental check-ups, eye screenings and free spectacles, blood sugar and blood pressure testing, and distribution of essential medicines. A team of 15 doctors, 8 nurses, and 20 volunteers worked tirelessly over two days to ensure every patient received proper attention.
"Healthcare is a fundamental right, not a privilege. When we serve the sick and the suffering, we serve the Divine itself," said Vedmurti Brajesh Guruji, who was present at the inauguration of the camp.
The camp also facilitated referrals for 45 patients who required specialized treatment at nearby hospitals. SDST covered the initial consultation costs for all referred patients.
This marks the 48th health camp conducted by SDST since its inception, with a cumulative reach of over 15,000 beneficiaries across Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh.
