New Bal Sanskar Kendra Inaugurated in Jaipur by Vedmurti Brajesh Guruji

By Sanatan Dharma Seva Trust

SDST inaugurated its newest Bal Sanskar Kendra in Jaipur, Rajasthan, expanding its footprint in values-based education for children. The Kendra, located in a rented community hall in the old city area, offers free weekend classes in Sanskrit, Bhagwad Gita recitation, moral values, and cultural arts.

The inauguration was presided over by Vedmurti Brajesh Guruji, who lit the ceremonial lamp and addressed the gathering of parents, children, teachers, and community members. "A child who learns one shloka today carries that light for a lifetime. The Bal Sanskar Kendra is not a school — it is a garden where the seeds of Dharma are sown," he said.

The Kendra currently enrolls 60 children aged 5-15, with classes held every Saturday and Sunday morning. The curriculum includes Gita recitation with meaning, Sanskrit alphabet and basic grammar, stories from the Ramayana and Mahabharat, yoga and pranayama, and creative arts with cultural themes.

All classes are free of cost, with study materials provided by SDST. Three trained teachers conduct the classes, supported by parent volunteers.

SDST plans to open two more Bal Sanskar Kendras — one in Pushkar and one in Delhi — before the end of 2025. The Trust welcomes donations and volunteer teachers to support the programme.
